Privacy Policy
What happens to your information
Last updated 25 July 2026.
Digital Footprint is run by Dominik as a sole operator. This page explains, in plain language, what information is collected through this website, why, and what your rights are over it, in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What's collected
When you submit the contact form, the following is collected: your name, business name, email address, phone number (only if you choose to give it), whatever you write in the free-text message, the date and time of submission, and which page the form was submitted from. No other tracking or profiling information is collected through the form, and no account or login is created.
Why it's collected
Solely to reply to you personally and, if you go on to book an Assessment, to run that engagement. Nothing you submit is used for any automated marketing sequence, and it isn't added to a mailing list unless you separately and explicitly ask to be.
The legal basis for holding it
Your information is held on the basis of consent, given when you tick the box on the contact form, and, where you go on to become a paying client, on the basis of taking steps to enter into a contract with you.
Who sees it
Only Dominik. Your information isn't sold, and it isn't shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes. It may be processed by the ordinary technical services that keep the website and email running (hosting and email providers), and, if you become a client, it may be logged in a simple internal system used to keep track of ongoing work — never shared beyond what's needed to deliver the Assessment you've asked for.
How long it's kept
Enquiries that don't turn into a client relationship are kept for as long as reasonably needed to have the conversation, and then deleted — normally within 12 months if nothing further happens. Information relating to an actual paid engagement is kept for as long as needed for that engagement and for standard UK tax and accounting record-keeping afterward.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not currently use tracking cookies or third-party advertising trackers. If lightweight, privacy-respecting analytics (such as basic page-view counts) are introduced in future, this page will be updated to say so plainly before that happens.
Your rights
You can ask, at any time, to see what's held about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, or to withdraw consent for it to be held at all — simply get in touch via the Contact page or email hello@dfootprint.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you're unhappy with how your information has been handled.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in any meaningful way, the update date at the top of this page will change, and, where appropriate, existing enquirers or clients will be told directly rather than relying on them noticing a small print change.
